The Forest Hunter Mid GTX boots are extremely robust yet surprisingly lightweight, high-quality leather boots with reinforced seams, unparalleled comfort, and a medium-stiff sole that provides excellent support. The boots feature a thoroughly tested, waterproof GORE-TEX membrane. They are developed and manufactured in Europe. The Forest Hunter Mid GTX boots weigh only around 740g each – even though they are leather boots. The boots have a mid-height shaft (7”/18 cm) and a slightly wider last. This model offers particularly ample toe room. This not only ensures a high level of comfort but also proves practical on cold days, as it allows for better toe movement, even with thick, insulating socks. The Forest Hunter Mid GTX boots are equipped with a waterproof GORE-TEX MS Advanced recycled membrane. All boot membranes are tested in a water bath during the production process to ensure they are truly waterproof. In addition, we conduct a 30-minute centrifuge sample test on 5% of the total boot production to further verify the membrane's highest possible quality. The boot uppers are made of nubuck leather, and the semi-rigid Vibram® soles provide excellent traction. Furthermore, the boots feature a shock-absorbing midsole for optimal walking comfort, even on long treks across extremely rough terrain. Although the boots are very robust, they also possess Flex points in the forefoot and heel ensure maximum walking comfort. The boots are reinforced with particularly durable material in the high-wear toe and heel areas.
