The Atammik GTX boots are made from extremely durable Cordura. Compared to leather boots, this offers the advantage of being extremely quick-drying and highly breathable, while also being among our lightest boots. The boots feature the highly practical Härkila wire system for ultra-easy on and off. Furthermore, they offer reinforced seams, exceptional comfort, and a medium-stiff sole that provides excellent foot support. The boots have a thoroughly tested, waterproof GORE-TEX membrane. The boots are developed and manufactured in Europe. We guarantee quality: As with all shoes in our range, we offer a two-year warranty on these boots should any material or functional defects occur.
Description
The Atammik GTX boots weigh only around 600g each, making them some of the lightest boots in our range. The boots have a mid-height shaft (7”/18 cm) and a new, slightly wider last. Equipped with the Härkila Wire System, they are easily tightened and loosened using the dial. The closure system is guaranteed; should the wire or dial unexpectedly break, you can always get a replacement from one of our authorized dealers. The Atammik GTX boots feature a waterproof GORE-TEX Sierra membrane. All boot membranes are tested in a water bath during the production process to ensure they are truly waterproof. In addition, we conduct a 30-minute centrifuge sample test on 5% of the total boot production to further verify the membrane's highest possible quality. The boot uppers are made of extremely durable Cordura with oiled nubuck leather reinforcements. The new, Italian-made Eurosuole Firefox soles provide excellent traction. Furthermore, the boots feature a shock-absorbing midsole for optimal walking comfort, even on long hikes across extremely rough terrain. The entire sole of the boots is reinforced with particularly durable material. Additionally, the boots have reinforced seams.
